If Thomas Edison could see us now

Thomas Jefferson said, "If the America people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currencies, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their prosperity until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
I read this on the facebook profile of the friend of a friend. She and he had conversed over their wall-to-wall that I indulged ina bit.
And I thought,
If he was right, Jefferson, then the institutions of the people shall have done to the people what the people's ancestors did to the land. Conquest. I do not think that karma is so simple as evil begets evil. Indeed, loss does not I think beget loss. Loss begets appreciation, both in hindsight for what one had, and if one is available, appreciation for what is still present...
We spoke of this, my father and step mother and I over breakfast once....

Evil will not beget evil. Evil, darkness, blindness, begets the desire to see, begets clarity, begets light and the idea of goodness. This is the play of opposits, not opposition, but compliment. Without shadow and light we would be blind by blackness or blind by light. Hold a torch in front of your nose and you still see nothing int he room but the torch; how then is the torch different than the shadow.....

Evil will not beget evil, it will attract its balance. It will reveal, just as a loss provides space to see what is, it will reveal goodness within the hearts of those endurng it.
The question here is what will be time line of that realizations fruition. How long will conquest go on. This conquest, this ruler ship of banks, as Jefferson put it, this is the same conquest as that of Coronada, of Davy Crocket, of all those who slaughtered the indiginous to forge a destiny. This is the same conquest. Our fore fathers who fought forth into the unknown of this content blazing trails of light and christianity and the baggage of Europe did not only kill the indiginous of this land, they killed the indiginous of their hearts. The women of the tribes were not only raped, it was the rape of the divine feminine, their bodies represented; it was not only the children who were taken fromt he tribes and beaten, and hair cut and reeducated thanks to the blood and sweat and burden of white men, it was the children within our own hearts that were being killed....

to forge a destiny.

This is the same conquest.
It was not birthed of past evils, it is the same evil. It is awaiting its counter balance;
as a wife waits for her husband to return from the hunt or the battle, or the ocean,
so too is the counterbalance waiting for us....
